Staff
Volunteer Emory Staff Structure
The Volunteer Emory staff consists of two professional staff members, three student co-directors, one graduate fellow, and 24 student staff members. The professional staff act as advocates for the student staff to the university administration, provide guidance, and participate in Volunteer Emory events. They also serve as the immediate supervisors for the three student co-directors. The graduate fellow works with the professional staff and co-directors to expand and deepen the Volunteer Emory experience.
The three co-directors coordinate the direction and day-to-day operation of Volunteer Emory and are the immediate supervisors for other student staff. Each of the co-directors specializes in one of the three main aspects of Volunteer Emory: weekly service trips, special events, and alternative breaks. Student staff members work with professional staff and the co-directors to plan meaningful service and social justice projects for the Emory community.
