Role of the L.E.A.D Team
The L.E.A.D Team serves in two primary capacities:

  • Assist the staff members of the Office of Student Leadership and Service (OSLS):  L.E.A.D. Team members will work with various student organizations, residence life staff members, and other groups that request leadership programs on topics including teamwork, getting involved, communication, and event planning.  In their role as presenters, the L.E.A.D Team may also be asked to work with OSLS staff to serve as a student voice in advisor workshops, updating, creating and reviewing Leadership Lifesavers To-Go, and will assist with the planning of the Eagle Awards for student leaders and student organizations.
  • Serve as mentors to younger Emory students through the Emerging Leader Experience (ELE):  Members of the L.E.A.D Team will gain first-hand experience in planning a leadership retreat, training younger students on topics surrounding leadership, and mentoring younger students as they begin the process of getting involved at Emory.
